Current research indicates that there are more than 424,000 children in the US foster care system. Approximately 30% of these children are eligible for adoption. In His Hands supports foster care and domestic adoption in 3 ways:
Awareness
We host regular meetings and exhibit at local conferences to spread awareness of the orphan crisis that impacts our local communities, and to serve as a resource for families who are considering foster care or domestic adoption.
Adoption Grants
In His Hands offers adopting families the opportunity to earn an adoption grant by doing volunteer work. If this interests you, email michelle@inhishandsorphans.org.
Practical Support
We provide practical support by ​holding annual supply drives for kids in the US foster care system. Book bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, soap, shampoo, snacks, small stuffed animals and more are donated to foster children in our local communities.
